This decision of the government will directly benefit the total 80 crore ration card holders in the country. The government has said that this limit for taking cereals and pulses will be in addition to the limit found under the existing National Food Security Act (NFSA). If you have such an illusion that after a few months you will have to get a new card to get ration, then let us tell you that it is not so.

If they have an old ration card, they will not have to get a new ration card

The central government has given a facility to the beneficiaries under the One Nation One Card Scheme, a new system of public distribution system. According to which, if the beneficiaries now have an old ration card, they will not have to get a new ration card. They will get ration in any part of the country only through the old ration card. The central government has clarified that even after the implementation of the One Nation One Ration Card scheme, the old ration card will continue to run. Earlier it was believed that a new card would be made in the new scheme.

After the implementation of this scheme, beneficiaries will be able to take ration on their card from any ration dealer in any part of the country. They will neither have to surrender the old ration card nor will the ration card have to be made at the new place.

If you are applying for online ration card then you will have to go through these procedures:

1. First of all, you have to go to the official website of the food and logistics department of your state.

2. here you have to choose your language.

3. After this, some personal information like district name, area name, town, gram panchayat will have to be told.

4. Now next you have to choose the type of card (APL / BPL / Antodaya).

5. As you move forward you will be asked for many information such as the name of your family head, Aadhaar card number, voter IT, bank account number, mobile number etc.

6. After filling all the information, at the end you will have to click on the submit button, along with it you will have to keep a print of it....
